Enjoy an untraditional evening at the PumpHouse on September 27. This adults-only event features opportunities to explore the exhibit during twilight and to create your own da Vinci inspired artwork. Admission is $10 and there will be a cash bar.
What to expect?
This isn't your conventional museum tour.
Take a tour with City Curator, Paul Robertson, and learn about the Renaissance man in a way you never have before. You will also be privy to hear the 'insider' story of planning that went into the creation of this exhibit.
Clay Bust Portraiture:
Da Vinci was famed for his paintings of people. Putting a twist on painted portraiture, create a small clay bust sculpture of yourself or your friends to take home!
Leonardo da Vinci's anatomical studies and illustrations still remain impressive today. Learn how to quickly sketch in the action or pose of a figure during our timed gesture drawing challenge!
Up, Up and Away!:
Challenge yourself (or your friends) and try and build your own flying contraptions to be tested in our unique air cannon on site!
See who can build the contraption that stays in the air the longest!
Catch this exhibit before it leaves in a special time while enjoying a beverage with your friends!
Food and drink?
Of course! Tall boys will be for sale ($5) and wine as well ($7/glass) at our cash bar.
Non-alcoholic drinks (soda water and pop) and light snacks will be available as well.
Yes, we’ve got you covered. Parking is available for free in the lot next to the PumpHouse. If you're planning on having a drink, please plan ahead. Kingston Public Transit stops are located close to the museum.
