Enjoy an untraditional evening at the PumpHouse on October 25th. This adults-only event features opportunities to explore the exhibit during twilight with special, 'dark' activities for Halloween. Relive your youth and play our giant, anatomical operation game, create a creepy hand in the Discovery Centre, and dig up some bones in our Train Room. There will also be a special talk on the history of Body Snatching.

What to expect?

Body Bit Buttons:
da Vinci's anatomical studies and illustrations still remain impressive today. Choose from historic medical prints and illustrations to create your own button to take home.

No training required! Relive your youth and test out your coordination skills with our giant, anatomical operation game!

We’ve Got Bones to Pick:

Visit our digging stations and see what you can dig up! Can you identify where the bones came from?

Hand Holders:
They want to hold your hand... or rather your candles, succulents, and keys. Create a plaster hand to take home and display.

Bodysnatching Talk:
What would you do to generate some extra income on a free night in the early 1800’s? Would you give any consideration to body snatching? In this talk, learn about the history of body snatching and the changes it led to in the industries of health and medicine.

This is your last chance to catch this exhibit after hours before it leaves for the season!

Food and drink?
Of course! Drinks will be for sale at our cash bar. Light snacks will be available as well.

Yes, we’ve got you covered. Parking is available for free in the lot next to the PumpHouse. If you're planning on having a drink, please plan ahead. Kingston Public Transit stops are located close to the museum.
