In this immersive program, young eco-warriors aged 4-7 will embark on a water clean-up walk. While exploring the backyard at PumpHouse and collecting waste items, participants will learn about how each item they find can negatively effect the water, our most precious resource. In "Water Protectors," kids will discover the vital role of water and the importance of everyone contributing to its protection. This session's book, authored by indigenous writers complements the theme of water protection, along with the new sign language sign introduced this week. Let's empower our little ones to be stewards of the environment and embrace the spirit of Water Protectors

Following the introduction of a new sign and a captivating read-aloud, participants will enjoy an interactive session where they sort through various items, making guesses about whether they will sink or float. They will then engage in discussions about buoyancy and discover why certain things are more buoyant than others. The program will conclude with a fascinating experiment demonstrating how water toxins impact the buoyancy of objects, highlighting the significance and discussing proactive measures to prevent toxins in the water.

Participants will engage in our enlightening program, "Magic Biodegradable Break Down," designed for eco-conscious minds. Water lovers will delve into the concept of biodegradability using a common packing material often overlooked in terms of environmental impact. Through an immersive read-aloud, meaningful discussions, and the introduction of a new sign, kids will explore the importance of distinguishing between biodegradable and non-biodegradable materials, discover simple changes that can be incorporated into everyday product choices and in turn foster a more eco-conscious lifestyle.

Experience the thrill of water relay races using sponges (prepare for some wet and wild moments), offering participants a firsthand understanding of the challenges in transporting water and the importance of avoiding waste. Concluding with a thoughtful discussion, we'll explore simple ways to contribute to water conservation in our daily lives.

Water Beats
🎶 Dive into the Rhythms of Water Beats!
Unleash the musical maestro within your little one with our program, "Water Beats." Explore the theme of sound in a hands-on way as participants craft their very own water xylophones, experimenting with different water levels in various containers to create unique pitches and tones. Alongside an enchanting read-aloud and the introduction of a new sign, the program will harmonize fun and learning. Participants will also have the chance to learn new songs about water, adding a melodic touch to their water-filled adventure. To top it off, they will engage in a lively game of Water Freeze tag outdoors, where participants can soak in the joy of music and movement.
