Dig into the world beneath your feet at Super Soil, a new program coming to the PumpHouse in June. Through a series of hands-on activities, participants will get to know ten Soil Superheroes: Captain Clay, Secret Silt, Super-Sand, Fabulous Fungus, The Mole, Wonder Worm, Band o' Bacteria, Dr. Done, Number Two and Professor Leaf. They'll learn all about how these critters and soil components work together to overcome challenges and keep our soil healthy. At the end of the program, participants will become heroes themselves by assembling their own 'Wildflower Seed Pouches', which they can use to take action and support soil health.
Tailored for children from kindergarten to grade 8.
